FOP Lodge 42, working with the PA State Lodge and the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association, is very pleased to announce that this free, (3) three-hour training is being brought to the new LCDES building, 1805 Cornwall Road, Lebanon, on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 0900 hours. You do not need to be a member of the FOP to attend. Seating is capped at 100. There is only parking for 65 vehicles, so attendees are encouraged to carpool. The main presenter for this will be PSTA/PSP Corp. Alex Mohn, Berks County. In addition to Chiefs, Supervisors, Investigators, Association Reps, and LE CISM, ALL law enforcement Officers who carry a firearm as part of their duties are strongly encouraged to attend. This training covers PSP’s new OIS/Critical Incident protocols which are already in effect for their agency Statewide, known as Field Regulation 1-5 (FR 1-5). The protocols were vetted through PSP and FOP attorneys. The training will cover Post shooting actions, Body cams, Public Safety Statement (PSS), Garrity, PBA Reps, PBA Attorney, CISM, Officer support, Interview(s), Criminal and internal investigations, Tactical Assurance protocols, etc. Significant changes in the approach to these incidents have taken place.
