“Human trafficking” is defined as the unlawful act of transporting or coercing people in order to benefit from their work or service, typically in the form of forced labor or sexual exploitation. This course is intended to provide public safety and social service members with skills necessary to be aware of persons or situations that may be involved with human trafficking. This course is open to bona fide employees of Emergency Medical Services, 911 Telecommunicators, Children and Youth Services, Crisis Intervention, and related public safety and social service agencies (registration and identification required).
